Kia ora koutou,

It’s a true joy to be a part of Te Rōhutu Whio. Prior to teaching, I was a veterinary technician so I combine my passion for teaching with expanding children’s natural curiosity and wonder of the animal world.

I am a mum to two young adults and it’s fabulous to watch them grow and find their places in the world. I have two hau-poaka guinea pigs, three kurī dogs, two ngeru cats and two manu budgies. The dogs take me to the park whenever they get the chance and my cats kindly allow me to share the couch most evenings.

My goal as a kaiako teacher is to inspire learners to continue life-long learning and growing. I do this by making sure tamarki children find learning exciting and interactive. It will be my privilege to provide this for each ākonga learner within Te Rōhutu Whio learning community.
